IC Environment Protection and Anti-Corruption Foundation
In this press conference, President Ishwar Chander addressed the critical issue of environmental damage caused by human selfishness. He described how people have continuously taken from the environment without ever giving anything back.
Humanity has treated the natural world as an inheritance to spend rather than a trust to keep. Forests are cleared for comfort and convenience. Water is drawn without thought for what refills it. The account is always debited, never credited.
Ishwar Chander passionately called for a change in this attitude, urging everyone to contribute positively to the environment. His message is clear: it is time to take responsibility and to act to protect and restore our planet.
The foundation invites every citizen to join that effort — by planting and tending trees, by reporting environmental damage, and by refusing to look away when nature is harmed for private profit.
On 5 June 2025 our volunteers, students and forest staff planted together — turning a day of speeches into a day of saplings.
The foundation's press conference was carried by Khabrain Abhi Tak Himachal Pradesh, taking the President's appeal to a statewide audience.
Foundation representatives met the Minister of Environment and Forests alongside President Ishwar Chander, carrying forward our work with government support.
