IC Environment Protection and Anti-Corruption Foundation
Representatives of the IC EPAC Foundation met Shri Subodh Uniyal, Minister of Environment and Forests, together with our President Ishwar Chander.
Meetings of this kind matter to the way we work. The foundation has always held that environmental protection cannot be achieved by an NGO acting alone, nor by the administration acting alone. Legal advocacy against polluters depends on the cooperation of the departments empowered to act on it.
Our volunteers, in their blue foundation shirts, have become a familiar presence at plantation drives and forest protection efforts across the region. Carrying that work into conversation with those who hold responsibility for forests and environment is a natural next step.
We thank the Minister for his time, and we continue to seek constructive engagement with government at every level in service of a cleaner, greener and corruption-free India.
On 5 June 2025 our volunteers, students and forest staff planted together — turning a day of speeches into a day of saplings.
A press conference addressing the environmental damage caused by human selfishness — and a call to give back to nature rather than only taking from it.
The foundation's press conference was carried by Khabrain Abhi Tak Himachal Pradesh, taking the President's appeal to a statewide audience.
