Our press conference featuring President Ishwar Chander was highlighted on the Khabrain Abhi Tak Himachal Pradesh news channel, carrying the foundation's appeal to households across the state.
In this address, Ishwar Chander called on society to protect the environment and to refrain from harming it for personal gain. He stressed the importance of giving back to nature, and of taking responsibility for our own actions rather than assigning that duty to someone else.
The message drew a direct line between the choices individuals make and the condition of the forests, the rivers and the air that everyone shares. Coverage of this kind matters: it turns a local appeal into a public conversation.
Together, we can make a difference — but only if the conversation is followed by action on the ground.
On 5 June 2025 our volunteers, students and forest staff planted together — turning a day of speeches into a day of saplings.
